Hello? is anyone there?
Thus begins my new project. I hope that by putting this in a blog format there will be more comments and sharing of ideas/tips/hints, etc. If you are a fellow trombonist say HI!!!! :)
I recently graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance after studying with the amazing and wonderful Nick Keelan. I spent one year of my undergraduate at Colorado State University studying with the also wonderful Greg Harper. I spent the summer not practicing as much as I should and I am now back in Colorado and, as of yet, jobless. I want to practice a lot more than I have been so I came up with the idea to post a video a week to keep me motivated and working, the natural choice was Bordogni/Rochut etudes because there are so many of them. I may post other projects (like duets and maybe solos....) as well.
I have ideas about going to grad school in the future but I feel I will be best served with some time away from school right now, so here we go, the grand adventure begins!
